but...the whole point of 70 star is that you beat the game as intended (with no major glitches)
yea lol i guess you still could save some time with blj´s and 120 stars actualy allows them, but i mean it wouldnt realy make that much the diference if you have to get all the bowsers and that
@TheGreatestRoman The point of 70 star is to beat the game after unlocking the final barrier, which can be achieved by either specifying that said final barrier must be respected, or by banning the glitch to skip it across the entire run. There's not necessarily a right or wrong to this, the SM64 community just decided to go for the latter. If you look at different communities, for example SM64 romhacks, they might handle it differently.
the rules say "circumventing star door requirement with any method is banned", not just the 70 star one. but yeah
We would like to announce that VC and EMU subcategories are now active on the Stage RTA leaderboards (under "Levels").
