Okay, I'll give you a serious answer: I fucking invited you to meet once and you said you didnt have time, we moved it up and said we'd do it another time. Then you disappeared from the face of the earth for like 4 months and everybody was spamming "rip naechster" everywhere because we actually liked you back then.
Today, I'm glad we actually haven't met back then and if you would disappear from the internet again and we'd never have to talk ever again, that would be fine, even preferred for me.
This is the most ridiculous fucking thread I've ever seen. I don't know how or why Naechster started thinking that everyone in the community is part of some conspiracy in which we try and piss him off as much as possible. Most of us didn't even know about this until today when this blew up, and we literally couldn't care less.
We didn't have a "teamspeak round" of "licking each other's dicks" just to try and piss Naechster off, we didn't even talk about any of this on teamspeak. It was just a mutual consensus several months ago that 69 Stars is a better name. If this community is going to be even remotely democratic then the name of the category is changed and that is that.
So Naechster can continue going on insulting everyone and thinking that the world is against him on some mental conspiracy, and everyone else can go back to not even knowing he exists, and that will be that.

Naechster I had practically no idea who you were or that you had an issue with anyone/all of us in the community until today. As far as I knew, you were just someone who played the game a long long time ago and then disappeared, and who everyone remembered by typing ".naechster" before any SRL race as a laugh.
When did I ever talk shit about time trials? I never ran that category because I prefer any%, I never said I hated time trials. Where are you coming up with this crackpot bullshit? I've always liked it as a category, time trials are great, just never wanted to run it seriously.
This is all besides the point anyway, Naechster you can keep attacking me even though I doubt you'd heard anything about me until this thread, or you can insult some other people, but the point is that literally everyone in this thread disagrees with you, and especially with how you go about dealing with issues like this. If you want people to respect you or take what you have to say seriously, you need to not insult people, you need to calm the fuck down, and you need to be reasonable with the wishes of the rest of the community.

i watched LITERALLY thousands of hours of your streams. of all of you. starting from when zubmit had a 42 pb. then i wrote memod to mod textures and audio. then i was in stream chats with you. then i did races with you on srl. then i learned how to use the editor. then i did runs on youtube, since streaming was not possible with my shitty computer. then i made a tutorial for the entire game. then i made custom levels together with nulaft. then i made a trainer together with nulaft. then i made a multiplayer together with nulaft. i spent literally every waking hour since jan 2013 with mirrors edge.
and what did i get as a reward from you? my category renamed and a lot of hate and shit talk. thats the sign of pure assholes.

I actually have never seen a more atrociously horrible way to get angry, you were not active in the community when i joined, and i of course wanted to know everyone. I just wanted to let you know that when i asked around, people told me about you and the usual answer was ''He's been gone for a while, but he's cool.'' I also think that an all time trials with 3 stars in all of them is a great concept. This pretty much changes that whole thing around, with everything you've said just now. There's no reason to insult anyone, it's just thrown out of the blue.
I'm pretty sure everyone except yourself can see that you're overreacting. We've never attempted to make you feel left out, we're still not trying to make you feel left out. We're just trying to talk sense to you.
The sense is that the category name change, just makes more sense. Give anyone 10 seconds and they would say, yeah.. 69 Stars does make more sense.

And yes, we renamed the category. I also thought 69% was better. But there was a strawpoll that decided if it should be changed that was posted in the skype group and 69 Stars won. You wouldve known about that if you hadnt actually vanished from the internet.
But what makes us not like you right now is that you are calling us assholes for no reason whatsoever. Like renaming a video game speedrun category is the biggest fucking deal in the entire world. If you get upset like this over something that stupid, you should really rethink your priorities in life.

Some people didnt like the category name, let me add that none of those people disliked you, they just disliked the name of the category, and they asked why its named that and if it could be changed, so we had a discussion about it and decided to make a strawpoll so the majority was happy with the choice.
Basically, we handled it like grownups instead of calling everybody else assholes and saying that people licked each others dicks.
