Short Speedrun games

Have to disagree with you there. Being designed to be short doesn't change the fact that it's short. Doesn't make sense to have an exception for that.

For reference, I literally beat the game in 1 minute and 20 seconds on my second try (my first try being a quick death from not figuring out the controls fast enough).

Sometimes games slip through the cracks and end up on the site I guess

Québec

its a series game, so the series moderator can add series games without having to go through the request games

@YoniArousement for future reference you can see when a game was added on its statistics page. The one you mentioned was added 2018-04-28.

Just another flaw with series moderation, really.

I'd like to say we could be less harsh on webgames, but we're already being kinda generous as it is at the moment with them. Most of the requests we get for web, flash and in some cases mobile games are all mostly terrible, short, not really able to be speedrun (score-related / extremely arbitrary category definitions that need to be made to make them speedrunnable) et cetera.

There isn't really a need to further lower the barrier for web/flash games, in my opinion. I'd say we should be continuing to do the opposite, and raising it. I'd like to scour the websites game database and clear out most of the pointless game pages with 0 runs (Volvagia informed us yesterday there are in fact hundreds of leaderboards with 0 runs on them) and a lot of the high-score or pointless webgame/flash game pages, but it's not really practical and it just means these would all be requested in the future once again... Also, I'm not entirely right with removing pages that have stood on the site for a while unless they're just totally redundant speedrun wise, set up horribly, no runs, etc.

Steam's library is also kind of getting in on the action because Steam seems fine to just throw quality control out the window and just let whatever crap into their games library. So you can thank Valve for that.
