This game seems like the perfect one to allow Individual Level speedruns. Is that something that has not been tried before, or would it just not work out?

I'm not sure if anyone's thought about doing it before. I'm not opposed to it. I think the password system would make it pretty easy to get to whichever level you felt like running.

Yeah, thats what I was thinking. Start the timer at the code input just like the character select screen. I'd be happy to try out a few runs once I can get my hands on a capture card

The idea sounds good to me ... I think that everything that extends the possibilities of speedruns is valid. As said, the passwords issue is a very positive point.

Sounds like an awesome idea. I actually have a few 3 minute runs on Holland, Ice level and a 5 minute new york run on hard. I got these during casual playing but can always improve. I was just going for beating the game on hard with Axel and realised I was moving very fast.
