WR?

How much does it take for mods to verify a new WR? Also, why isn't there a public discussion about WR submits?

What a friendly and respectful person you are illuminati. If you think the run is cheated then post some proof and not just blatantly call it 'likely cheated'. Just because you hate the person doesn't mean that he committed the murder... Also the only issue of this 'likely cheated' run that people have brought up so far is 'scrolling sound' (mostly lel himself and shadow dog). Flying made a short stream about the issue and demonstrated how quick and slow scrolling sounds different and that was still not enough. Some people just ended up saying how they 'watched 5 minutes and it's not enough' out of 30 minute stream.

It's obvious that some people are very against flying's runs and just don't like the guy himself. But that is not the reason for run to be denied when you can't come up with any other reason for run being illegitimate.

The run hasn't been denied, they are just going over it, if he didn't want it to take so long to verify he shouldn't have cheated in the first place, if he has nothing to hide, it will be approved when it's finished being reviewed. I don't see what's hard to understand about that.

I'm pretty sure lelreset's first wr took a long time to verify too, so this is normal.

We wait for it to be approved my friend.

Runs take around 2 days to verify most of the time even when the user doesn’t have history of cheating in the past, but the fact that flying cheated 2 times and now claims to have the WR don’t be surprised if it takes a bit to verify. Everyone just needs to chill out and wait for the mods to make sure everything is all good until they verify the run.

i'd just like to know why he wasn't banned the first time he cheated or even the second time? once a cheat always a cheat?

Well how i view it is what if a person submitted a real run that was a WR but the mods rejected the run just because they cheated in the past, i don't think that's really fair because then the person who has the current WR doesn't actually have it because there is a time that is actually faster then theirs. So you submitting a cheated run doesn't mean you will get banned it just affects the trust the community has on you now and reputation you now have. The moderators job is to accepted runs that are real and reject runs that are fake not to reject runs just because the user cheated in the past.

In my opinion thats just tough for him, after cheating in the past he should lose that privilege to ever have WR in this game

"i don't think that's really fair because then the person who has the current WR doesn't actually have it because there is a time that is actually faster then theirs." Exactly, the whole point of having a WR is being the best (and fastest in this case) in something, not being the best, fastest AND 100% trustworthy. The mods are there to verify the run and make sure it is legit, if it isn't it will be rejected with proof that it was cheated.
