There is at least one, possibly multiple prior beta version/s of which I haven't yet looked for.

Creability was founded on 10 Mar 2013 with Only If being their only game, making it possible for the existence of unreleased alpha or beta versions to exist somewhere.

There was the beta release on 23 Nov 2013.

A beta update/fix on 3 Dec 2013 covering these changes: Small performance change and NO MORE BUGS, YOU CAN’T, THERE ARE NONE, I MADE SURE. Re-recorded a few lines and added new ones. Generally made the game a little easier. Added check points. (yes i know, thank god)

A mac beta under the same fix released on 23 Dec 2013 along with information that they had been changing and updating files without making patch notes for some of these changes thus each copy of the beta might be slightly different.

Final beta release on 4 Apr 2014.

Full release on 29/30 May 2014.

Version 1.0.3 released on 31 May 2014 informs us that the PC port was on hold shortly, possibly telling us that Only If might be available on other devices, nevertheless 1.0.3 comes with these patch notes: Park Bug fixed. Many minor changes and bug fixes, one of them is the infamous flower bug. The True Ending beyond what was ever shown of the game. (around 15 more mins of gameplay) Save & Load Option / Option to load levels from the menu.

Version 1.0.3 fix/update on 3 Jun 2014: General: Floating Labels fixed. Loading Levels fixed. Added Linux build. Ending song lowered.

Park: Flower bug fixed. Added 2 more trash cans in the maze. Minor changes & fixes. Study after White Pawn: Minor changes & fixes. Added a new Easter Egg indicating future project.

Second Parlor: No more zooming, that feature is for BP. Minor changes and fixes.

Version 1.0.4 released on 9 Jun 2014: Added in-game menu that states what level you're on Levels that were nerfed down (made easier): Park Blind Immensity

Bug fixes: Ending key glitch. Random restart in Blind level.

Update 1.0.4.5 released on 18 Jun 2014: General bug fixes. Bigger fixes:

  • Immensity’s last bit was made easier, plus additional VAs.
  • Immensity now has 4 check points.
  • Players can load Immensity Part 2 from the Menu.
  • Blind’s & Park’s conveyance made easier.
  • Depending on if the player falls too early in Topsy Turvy to get to the Park, the dialogue between the levels has a minor change for logic’s sake.
  • One more secret easter egg. (total of 4)

Version 1.0.5 was finished on 23 Jul 2014
