I have found that when playing the game, the higher-level settings on graphics make a looooot of things look pretty choppy (I know, cause I had faced it myself). So from my brief testing, a good work around is using medium or lower settings for the graphics - thus lowering the processing that your computer needs to do to push everything out.
If anyone has other specifics, by all means list them out. But I figured that if you want to avoid your streams to look choppy - this is a pretty good first step.
My computer works differently from yours, when I'm on higher-level settings it works smoothly than lower-level settings (Which makes the game lag). I don't know why it is like this but if your game/stream is lagging then mess around with the settings until you have smooth gameplay.
Well I know when it comes to streaming, everything - including Livesplit - take a lot to process. If I'm playing when not streaming, it works perfectly well. I'll definitely say its odd, by all means. do you have yours on a high setting - with locked 30-fps?
