After watching the 2 runs there are here, deadlock went with Paul (until Purple Bee) and Ryan after that, and Neis went full Paul.

I thought Glen was the best character to do a run because had a very good crowd control and several combos, what do you think?

ok so I thought the same thing at first too, seeing as how Glen starts off with a really good combo set right off the bat. Not to mention he starts with blustery kick, which a tremendous starting ability. In fact I used to run it with Glen. The reason I start with Paul is simply the fact that he has, hands down. the best ground combo potenial, and outputs a lot of damage in that way. He can basically do infinite combos (if you pace out his starting move set correctly) this is why Neis uses Paul. I use him until after Purple Bee and I switch to Ryan. The reason is simple. BIRD KICK. his forward, forward, kick. This move was crucial to my run. Short of some dialogue skips, 2 near pixel perfect jumps, and one boss skip, that is the run. bird kick, bird kick, bird kick. its not a visually impressive or combo heavy run but its fast.
