Hi. I saw in a couple of instances where after you enter the stadium for the 8 track race, you can start moving during the 3-2-1 countdown phase, skipping through the AI cars while they wait. It cuts down a big chunk of time + the beginning is always the toughest part against those crazy AI cars. Does anyone know how can one achieve this glitch?
As far as I know, all you need is a phonecall coming in, enter the marker at the same time it starts ringing and start holding it (hold TAB or whatever button you have set to "action") during the fade-out. Pause buffering (holding ESC or whatever you have set as menu button to very rapidly open and close the menu) or fps limiting can help with the timing. Release the phonecall button and you should gain control during the countdown. It's necessary to set the ACTION key (on foot) as the same key for SECONDARY FIRE (in vehicle) for this to work.
