Deeply apologise if this question has been asked many times already, but does anyone know how to get an input display for OpenEMU? I am using the program on macOS Catalina (10.15) and using keyboard, not a controller.

Any info would be appreciated. Thanks very much!

I know Mac has a built-in keyboard input viewer. Go to System Preferences - Keyboard - Then Click "Show Keyboard, Emoji, & Symbol Viewers in menu bar." Click the icon with the Command Symbol then click show keyboard viewer. I haven't found another way to record / show keyboard inputs on mac. If you have access to a decent windows PC you can probably run your game on there (I'm assuming it's a 2D game since you're playing on keyboard) and use "NohBoard" which is a good keyboard input viewer.
