If my orientation is right, I'm pretty sure you can use the cover in the tunnel with the trap to clip straight into the C9 tunnel, I just had some trouble getting through the wall, but I haven't tried much, so that'd be the next thing to try.

You can also go into chapter 9 and clip through a wall to the left at the top of the stairs; which is faster, and then air-walk your way to the area, but you have to land totally blind. I did learn however, that you can start an airwalk after de-covering, which may be useful here or elsewhere.

I've had attempts where I've gotten close, I've sometimes ledge-grabbed the big stones near the turning point of the tunnel, but on the OOB side, and at that point the only thing you can do is press B to fall and die; but it does kinda prove that the tunnel is loaded correctly I guess?

Dunno. I think someone smarter than me needs to look at it. :P

Oh another thing, it seems to can cover clip to the right, if you aim in between shuffles. Might have been known already. It seems to be slightly faster to clip this way too, although it seems to make it easier to detach from the cover and lose the glitch.

I found another really long hover for you guys. This goes from chapter 19 into chapter 20. I was watching spuds run so I compared this to his and it's like 33 seconds faster than what he did. You'll want to mash quickly for at least some of this airwalk or you will end up too low. The path I took was kinda weird but you can probably go straight to it once you know where to aim.

Oh, and you might not have to start from where I do, but I always ended up too low from other places.

I found something on stream yesterday that almost works as a cool skip in chapter 2. Maybe someone can find a way to make this work somehow.

Started messing around with some UC2. Not sure if this was discovered before.

A small skip in chapter 9. May or may not be worth the time. Please disregard my bad playing too.

Oh wow, that's really clever. Not sure how much time it would save. I pretty much tune out during C9, haha, but you'd at very least not have to wait for Chloe any more and prevent the rare softlock with the second mirror. I'll definitely try it out next run, thanks Covert! \o/

Nice Find :) And yeah you are right. This place is pretty dead at the moment. I think its because every runner runs other games at the moment and the other one do only offline runs or no runs at all :D

And Thrillness, do you think the checkpoint manipulation or however it is called cool be work in uncharted too? i never saw you 4 min tlou run but maybe there could be a way in u1 too.

Nice find Thrillness. Unfortunately I have a broken TV at the moment and so am not currently running. Hopefully new TV this week and I'll get back into UC1.

I have been keeping an eye on the forums but as you said they are a little dead atm.

Hey guys, been absent from this game and speedrunning in general for the last half year, only recently got back into it.

About the Train Skip v3: I haven't been able to get in contact with the Chapter 15 trigger using that method, because it seems that you're too low and you just go underneath...

Also something about the C19-20 skip. Firstly, I haven't been able to get it once, it's really hard and very inconsistent. My main focus right now is on finding a consistent set-up for it.

What's also nice is that you can take RPG ammo with you. Something interesting that I've found is that the only place in C19 that spawns RPG ammo, which I will refer to as the 'drop spot' (besides the one guy that shoots RPG's at you, who I will refer to as the 'RPG guy') will give you either 1 or 2 RPG ammo randomly, and if you hit a checkpoint and restart, then the ammo at the drop spot will regenerate and will again give you 1 or 2 ammo randomly. The RPG guy is on the roof and will give you 1 ammo if it falls to the ground, which can occur randomly. I've created a flow chart for both the 1 and 2 ammo case, with the optimal strategy to get 3 RPG ammo before the skip:

If you get 2 ammo, then it's best to kill the RPG guy first because the game might take a little while before you can restart the checkpoint. So in the meantime you have a probability that you may not even need to restart at all.

EDIT: Also something worth noting: if you're in a fight and are standing somewhere OOB then at some points the area might unload itself, but the enemies stay visible. This way you can hit enemies as if there was no cover, which can be a lot faster. So it may be useful for some long forced fights without open areas. Still needs to be tested...
