So what is the deal with dragster being tried these days I thought it was the unbeatable game in speedrunning or am I wrong
The 5.51 was never properly verified with any proof (picture or video) and a few months ago Omnigamer and others reversed engineered the code to determine that the fastest possible time allowed by the game was 5.57.
This led to a surge of people trying to get the fastest possible time and it became popular for a while as people sought after it (plus some drama started over it on TwinGalaxies when the time was officially disputed so that brought it to more light as well).
