I don't know if it has been asked before, but is there a way to add general rules that apply to all categories for a specific game? Because right now (for Zelda: Link to the Past at least), for each category, you have to mention:

• X emulators are banned
• Up/down & left/right techniques are banned
• Etc.

If there's currently no way of doing so, please consider it?

That's a good idea. It's already somewhat implemented in the Level Leaderboard, which is strange. This is definitely something that should be considered.

Maybe you can just copy paste it at the beggining/ending of every category's rule like XeiZ did for Portal 1 ?!

That's actually what i did on a leaderboard, it works, but still, it's a waste of time and whenever categories changes for X reason you have to waste even more time.

If you are too lazy to edit your games' rules, you are not a good mod then :/

i'm not lazy, and imo it's not a matter of that, it's just that it's a waste of time, it COULD be easier and faster. Still, if you feel like wasting time, then fine, but personnaly i don't like spending 30mn just because there's too many different things.

If site improvements make moderating easier, they are definitely valid suggestions. To say they aren't would essentially be saying we shouldn't try to improve things.

I'm aware this is an issue; the priority in improving it is to be determined.
