gosh dude the 4:54 is near who is the next?

There are three people that have potential for 4:54- Nolmy, Niftski, and Miniland

All three are active and have extremely high PB's, and all three have good knowledge of the game. If somebody is going to get 4:54, it's one of them.

^ lekukie too, since he's one of only four people to have had a run on low 455 pace to 8-4 and he's better at pl8-1 than just about anyone else

I was stoked when Nifitski and Miniland set new records. At the end of the day the theoretical limits are just that, theoretical. I definitely see a 4:54 happening especially if the fast start to levels is also incorporated into runs. Kick ass jobs by all of you runners!

I dint understand why nifitski didt do flagpole glich in 1-1 is his minos world wr speedrun

it wasn't necessary to get wr, and because -2 ffpg is so hard it's reasonable to assume he also wanted to try and cut down on resets as much as possible

How many framerules must be additionally safed for a 4:54?

I think it's 1 framerule and some change. In fact, 1 framerule is more than enough for 4:54

damn a 4:54 would be awesome this game is so ridiculously optimized

runners are getting closer and closer to their limits, i think a 4:54 is within reach in 2021 by anyone from the top5 and possibly some lower but fast improving players too

time will tell but i think we will get a 4:54 in 2021 this year must be better than 2020

there is no correlation in that, you cant just supose that "2021 have to be better year than 2020 and then 4:54 have to happend" lol

@Corban_Pittman 8-1 is the only level where rigth now there is a sure framerule that you can barely save that is human posible, but nobody have get it in a run yet, basicaly is a perfect flagpole glitch where you cant use the same set-up because of the strange stairs, and a fast accel is needed at the start basicaly that
