I wanna do a glitchless run of this game! But I don't have a 3ds capture card do I need to record it for proof I did it? I can record it with my cell phone but the quality will be bad barely viewable and probably a little grainy. Thanks for reading have a good one! And I hope you all had a great thanksgiving!

You don't need to record to submit, but if you start to get good at the category and are competing at a top level you will need a video, but for now it's fine d=^P
Yeah I probably going to be last for a while on glitchless Ii might do any% but I don't I think be able to submit anything in the top ten cause I have no proof till I figure out how to stream from my phone camera? At least that the rule in hyrule Warriors speedruns I'm pretty much coming from there to here!
You can stream using webcam apps such as IP webcam or droidcam (the quality will be very bad though), alternatively you can use the ustream app and restream that feed on twitch. You also don't have to stream at all but can still record and upload to youtube :P
Ok it's been awhile since I last posted here but I finally found a way to record 3ds gameplay! So yay I'll do a stream and hopefully learn the route to run this game soon!
One option is to mount your phone/camera to give a stable view of your 3DS(its a little awkward to play, doable though). However from what I've read, you need to get your 3DS modded with an AV out to plug into your computer to record/stream. The modder should give you the software to record with as well.
