I was wondering about SSASSA cheat code category (invinciblity) I think alot of people would run it. Maybe consider adding it?

Yeah I like this idea as a category. But I think we need people to run it before it becomes a category. If I know how to download the cheat code I would love to run this category.
This could be interesting for people who like using cheatcodes and running aission as ryangames said Might try it later
First run of the category? Extremely bad because of how much input lag mesen has. It was running at 15 fps. No joke. Whatever im gonna switch to nestopia after this.
So, essentially this is a category where all the levels are completely free aside from 4-2 and 8-4...and we already have an 8-4 IL category.
Side notes about that video. That emulator isn’t permitted and neither is the turbo function you’re using.
First, i apologize for the run breaking THE rules. I just made a run so i wanted to show the people what this cheat do. Second, its not like levels except 4-2 and 8-4 are free. You still need to do timed jumps. What about flagpole glitch? What about bullet bill glitch? Its not like its free at all. With basic strats its free but with ADVANCED its not. Also i think this category would be a great option for runners to practice glitches, skips etc. So, other levels still require some skill.
I get your point and I understand where you're coming from. However, with a meme board that already has 41 categories on it, I feel it's not very unique and doesn't really add much value to it. Some of the other mods might feel differently about that, but that's how I feel about it. If you wanna run that on @Scrimsion's unofficial board, go for it.
I have no idea how you think this isnt unique, and yes other mods would feel different about this. Im sure atleast one mod would agree with my category. But for now there isnt really alot i can do. What about SSASSA warpless though? It needs timed jumps, its just a little bit less dificult, it could go for a category.
If there's not gonna be an any% category I highly doubt a warpless category will go through.

Just do runs of whatever you want. If you want to do runs with this then go for it. You don't need a leaderboard for it to do so.
And yes it does make all the levels free. Those who are already capable of fpg and other advanced tricks would not choose to spend time doing those tricks with this code on, since any% is already enough of a grind. For those who aren't already proficient at those tricks, they would do better to just practice the tricks in isolation.

By the way, to all know that the bullet bill flagpole glitch suppostly is imposible in that category, becaue you doesnt jump in the bullet bill, you simply kill it.
@Kosmic okey, men, is not to critique, but I think ALL THE MODS ALWAYS use that argument to finish with a conversation about a new category idea that doesnt be finaly accepted. And I realy dont like that argument.
Obviuslig that we can do a run without a leaderboard. We can run ANY RUN without leaderboard. For that, we dont need any leaderboard, no? Why to waste the time, is not needed to have leaderboard, total it not help to run and...
But pls, for something we have "SpeedRun.com", no? The idea is not to need, is that we like and that is so cool and so nice to have a leaderboadrd with all the runs. I dont understand that argument.
So, okey, this time youre rigth, is true that maybe the run is simply an easier any% and is no logic, apart of that now there is only 1 run. But, this to all the mods, of any game, dont matter: Minimum for me, do not help to say that we dont need a leaderboard to run it. We know is not needed a leaderboard, if we give the idea is to look if is a good idea to have a leaderboard of that run. I am starting to be a little bit tired to look that sentence in all the threads of new categories.

In respect of the category, I think would be better a "warpless" from a SSASSA. Only my third party dumb opinion.
