I don't know how i would define a glitch, but i see that the majority of the top any% runners go into walls and go OoB in some places. It probably won't make much of a difference to the real Any%, but what are your thoughts?
Most likely not. Glitches save so few time all together that it's not even worth making a category out of it.
you get into a tricky spot defining glitches. is the fast bowser kill a glitch or a clever use of intended mechanics. same goes for things like snow dram, 2-D skip, dino skip, (not in any% but) coin duping in cascade.
things like moon clip are definitely glitches, FMS is a glitch because it was patched. but i'm reasonably sure glitches can't save more than 3 minutes in any% (depending on what you count as a glitch ofc).
if you want to run glitchless any%, make a rule list and run it, but I would be surprised if it ever really took off
Any% is not that much changed using glitches, the route isn't that dependent on them. If you wanna run this just don't use glitches and submit to the any% boards.
it should be any% skipless so no meme tree or anything like that. not sure if that wlil change mouch but that would be a better catoogroy! itsb etter than glitchless and has more stuff!
As seen in the discussions on Discord, this is a very complicated category to define. What can work would be No Clips/FMS; anything beyond that would just be really hard to define and agree on
maybe inteaded route instead. so like thee way nintendo designed for you t do them, so no insanse movemnets and doing world peice in all kingdoms. any thoughts n this
