ANYTHING BUT: 1. something expensive bc im cheap and if i hate it its not too bad. 2. its not that long of a game, 30 minutes is my max because im impatient. 3. im new, just joined like a week ago so dont suggest something really hard. other then that, suggest any thing :]

Short, cheap and easy for 3DS... That's a good one. Like @HowDenKing says, most 3DS games are long.

But I found some (I am not sure if they are cheap in the USA tho)

  • Ultimate NES Remix
  • The Legend of Zelda: Triforce Heroes
  • Star Fox 64 3D
  • Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS (Depends on category)
  • New Super Mario Bros. 2
  • Super Smash Bros. for 3DS

I guess the level boards for Mario games are a possibility too? Furthermore.. I can't seem to find 3DS games in a 30 minute cap.

Monster Hunter 4, 4U, X(/Gen) & XX all have ILs in the range of 2 seconds to 10 minutes. just depends on if he wants ILs or Full-Game. Full-Game is pretty much impossible to find with such a timelimit.

@Seydie I Can do Wii And Wii U as well..so im the closest to doing SuperMarioMaker or Smash. @HowDenKing, I’m not doing IL speed runs, and I’m looking for 3DS-VC games too, I’ve already gotten a 3:14 any% on LozLTTP (bad amiright) Also thank you for these suggestions, I’ll try and see how Ultimate NES Remix goes.

seen as you decided to repost this thread I will just post here not all games I suggest will be 3ds games but the 3ds can run ds games so shouldn't be an issue and ds games can be quite cheap. Also this list is compiled of games I like or games I looked around on the site for so no guarantee you will like anything here ^_^

-Nintendogs -some of the kirby games -sims 3 (ds and 3ds) -Puzzle de Harvest Moon -Harvist moon (ds cute) seems slightly longer but meh -both the ds animal crossings depending on the category

  • pokemon picross (and the game is free and super fun) -Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call -Mario party star rush

and some wii games as you asked for some in your other post -Eledees (elebits) (know u don't want to do levels but this game directs you there first anyway) -Again animal crossing depending on the category -Bust-A-Move -Sims 2 castaway -wii sports

sorry if none of these help you ^_^ but yeah I have never ran any of these besides sims 3 so idk I don't think an hour is to long either especially if you like the game :)

I’ll go over all the suggestions. Nintendogs: Dogs + Speedrunning?! NANI?! Kirby Games: Ehhhh... Sims 3: oh god no. Animal Crossing: maybe.. The next two are too expensive :P Eledees: hmph, never heard of it.. Saw what it is from a video now. Sims 2: no Bust a move: maybe Wii sports: I sUCK at GoLF! But I’ll practice golf and try it :P And before someone says: do a game you like! Let me stop you right there. Bowsers Inside story: world record is above 5 hours. Nope. Plus this game is dead af YuGiOh: Reverse Of Arcadia: not even a leaderboard lOl Super Paper Mario: too long. Super Mario RPG: nO. Tl:dr I’m doing wii sports

Hey there! Welcome to the speedrunning community! Considering your preferences, I'd recommend diving into some accessible and cost-effective titles for the 3DS. Games like "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D" and "Super Mario 3D Land" offer engaging speedrunning potential without breaking the bank. Both are iconic titles with relatively short completion times, fitting your 30-minute max criterion. For beginners, these games provide a solid foundation to hone your skills. Plus, their popularity means you'll find plenty of resources and fellow speedrunners to connect with, making your journey into speedrunning even more enjoyable. Happy running!
