Ghost Skip

This is the ghost skip. It's quite chaotic but can save a capture and cutscene.

What seems to happen is that the ghost spawns outside of normal parameters and gets confused.

Sometimes its faster then that what is shown here and will disappear immediately without going down.

It may be possible that this can be done on other bosses which can be ended near the end of the screen, such as hotel boss 2, undead scyther, fireman and puppet master, but the time it may take to position the enemy may not be worth the time save. If anybody can confirm a setup please post here.

Alternative strategy for all ghosts!

The ghost always escapes after three attempts. If you touch the beam on the very side of the ghost as it retracts, you can get a quick catch / release. You'll also release if you bash into a wall.

This may be a more preferable strat if you're not in position for a quick ghost capture, naturally skipping the cutscene and possibly putting you closer to the exit.

In addition it would also save time at the end of the level as there are no ghosts to cross off.

I was aware of the first one but this game has such fucked RNG the time you save is very little. Of course, any timesave is always great. As for video two I guess that varies on quick capture or how close you are to catching the ghost. The most important thing you can do is proper execution and have great RNG for boss fights. Even decent if you can manage it.
