okay? so what who does or doesnt have a run in lol all of them care to say no not to ban or to ban it cause they see it and thats what they think let them say what they want to say and cast a vote again is having ginput really that much better? when did it become an issue?
This isn't about Hugo running the game with GInput. This is about ANYBODY running the game with GInput.

You missed the point again. We're not banning controller usage at all. Just a mod that shouldn't be allowed in the first place. Especially when you can configure it in a different way and still be able to run the game.
A reminder to everyone;
You can gain advantage at a task, but still lose at that particular task for a while. The victory (in this case, getting a faster time than non ginput users) may only come later.
You shouldn't have had that advantage in the first place.
The only true modification I know that has ever been allowed in any GTA game is "liveless.exe", which removes Games For Windows: Live from GTA IV. That was universally agreed by people who know what they are talking about.
As such, my vote is A.
Addendum; this really should not have been put to a public vote for the reasons evident in this thread so far.
Are you guys braindead or something? We want to ban the MOD, not the whole concept of using a controller for running. If you really want to use a controller, you can just follow my nifty guide (https://www.speedrun.com/gtasa/guide/w2qd3) which makes everything work fine.
On one hand, I think GInput's features do offer an unfair advantage.
On the other hand, I don't think those unfair advantages warrant such a heated discussion. It's kind of ridiculous getting so worked up about and creating an "us vs. them" environment.
Lastly, brigading the vote because your favorite runner uses GInput goes against the principle of this vote.
"Where is all this abuse?" People have been using an added feature to switch controller schemes, allowing them to switch between the ability to autoaim and simple manual aim without using the ingame menu.
"How much time does it save?" This does not matter
"Again, it was allowed for months, why is nobody purposefully using GInput to get these free time saves?" Because people have this thing called common sense. If it's not in the game, and a mod includes it, why would this feature be allowed? Use your goddamned brain. It's obvious it shouldn't be allowed to use a feature added by a mod.

@illuminati7777 it's NOT the fact that it is a mod that started this discussion, it started because it offers a real disadvantage. I don't know how much time it saves, but the fact that it allows you to do something that you can't do without it makes it a valid reason to be banned.

Nick007J you can switch to keyboard and mouse or the controller at any time without going into the options menu and changing the option there.
