How do I transfer footage from my 3DS's SD card to my phone or laptop? My 3DS's SD card can't fit in my phone's SD card slot, and I don't even know where my laptop's SD card slot is.

Footage from Smash 3DS can no longer be transferred from DS to PC unfortunately (as far as I know). I tried doing it with my SD card and the replays are some weird file.

@TGHOOT Are there any loopholes?

You can record the playback from your phone, the files that are saved for playback aren't actual recordings, but a collection of your inputs + the RNG seed + any settings you may have and it takes all of that and plays it back in real-time when you view it on your 3DS

What I do is record my saved recordings with my camera app to my tablet to the sd card, then I put some music in them and they are ready for youtube. You don't have to do the music part, but it's just my style. I also recommend the camera app "Open Camera" It has so many settings such as putting the footage directly to the sd card, and lots of recording effects, including lowering quality to very low quality for if you wanted to make very long videos (The lowest setting I've ever used is VGA quality. I use that for long handheld console runs like my pokemon black runs. On short runs such as Classic 5.0, I recommend the highest or 2nd highest quality.) I have some examples of those smash bros runs on my youtube channel, in 10 and 100 man smash if you want to go check them out.
