Possibly new 4-2 Method.

I am 100% sure this isn't time saving, but I want to show you guys something.

So, this one requires Big Mario(or Super Mario to do this)

In the video shown, I ducked under the bricks and while I was still accelerated, I quickly pushed the left button, which caused me to be pushed forward by a heck ton of pixels, which was more than enough to get through the pipe.

I know it's not time saving, but I do have to admit, it was a pretty good find,

(Unless someone else had found it before I even typed this out.)

EDIT: Turns out, people already found it before I did. Feelsbadman. But hey, atleast I can give myself a pat on the back for finding a glitch without using Google.

That's been a method for a couple of years now. I used to do that when I was new to speedrunning.

I guess I wasn't the first one. Feelsbadman, but hey. I mean I guess I am kinda glad that I found a glitch by myself without using Google.

That's similar to the way blazit works - clipping into a wall facing backwards to scroll yourself forward and keeping the screen from scrolling. Except with blazit you're small, and you clip into the middle of the wall, and you only move forward the minimum amount required to get the wrong warp
