Rampages removed from map/Saving Glitch

Just been playing around and had something I don't think I've seen posted yet, feel free to delete this or move it somewhere more appropriate if it has.

If you get into a rampage whilst still able to start other missions/rampages etc save the game and reload, it will remove the rampage from the map, it won't be passed on the stats screen and no rampage passed text will appear. It will however give you ammo for the weapon the rampage used, similar to how if you pass a rampage during a replay iirc.

It happened with the uzi rampage in Chinatown accidentally, I wasn't to sure of the secondary location for that so tested it with the RPG Portland rampage since I know both locations and it's gone from that save file.

Whilst I can't think of any uses for it someone with better knowledge of the game might see a benefit to it for use during Any% or All Missions.

I can't really see why deleting a rampage would aid in going fast, but cool find nonetheless OneHand

More so ammo towards the beginning of a run was my general thinking. M16 early on in Portland etc.

Ah yeah, true, though taking the time to save and load makes it not sound worth it from the start. It could use some messing around with though.

I made a replay over the shotgun rampage, save started it, save reload, and could still start it on the first location via reload. Tested it with Vigilante, worked the same. Not sure why it works for me but not you.
