Hey, i wanna get into speedrunning nd since dkc 2 is my favorite game, i wanna start with that. i have an european version (i am from Germany). Can i speerun with that and where is the best place to buy a Cartridge of a 1.1 version, because i tried to find it, but sadly i was unsuccesfull

you can start with that, until you want to go for more competitive times there's no need to be concerned about correct versions etc.

but the dkc boards are (sadly) still completely located over at https://dkcspeedruns.com/ so you wanna go there for all your needs & for submitting your times.

The NSTC version actually doesn't compensate for the higher speed? That's interesting... so that means the game is harder in those regions. Strange.
