...and gentlemen. I'm brand new to this community and just wanted to say hey to everyone. I'm currently working on the Final Fantasy X platinum for PS4, and once I finish that, I'll be doing a full start to finish speedrun attempt of it. I saw some video of it earlier today that blew my mind and made me want to have a go at it. So, Destiny, Final Fantasies, Pokemon, StarCraft - these are the kinds of things you can expect out of me. on the real though, im hoping to meet some cool people here and learn some stuff about this side of the gaming community, so any tips or hints or w/e will all be greatly appreciated.

Just have fun with speedrunning. Unless you're going for WR then you gotta be serious about that stuff. Gotta put in time and effort. Lots of grinding will be needed learning setups, tricks, glitches etc. besides that Speedrunning is super awesome and your friends will be jealous when they see that you're better at video games than them.
