I think you missed listing the Alice in Wonderland 2010 game. I think it's called Disney Alice in Wonderland, unlike the earlier game of Walt Disney's Alice in Wonderland.

You should take up the 100% issues with the games' moderators either by contacting them directly via Twitch, Twitter, etc. or on the games' forums.

And this -> http://www.speedrun.com/requestgame?series=disney

The site doesn't standardize category definitions. That's left to individual game's moderators. Games aren't listed unless they have a run, or in some cases series moderators add them to complete a series.

I give this comment the Creative Commons Attribution Share-a-like 3.0 unported license. In response to blahpy's comment about somebody having cheated and submitted a TAS, you should invent a game recording device like that described in http://speedydeletion.wikia.com/wiki/Game_recording_device which I wrote myself. There should also be a new file type where only the only way to make an image or a video be that file type is to upload it by one of the approved methods and it can't be edited without changing to another file type and no other file type can be converted to that file type. One approved processes should be uploading a raw image from a digital camera. Another approved process should be uploading an uncut video from that game recording device. Some day, maybe you could announce the availability of that game recording device and that after a certain date, you will only accept videos of that file type. That way, people can't cheat and submit a segmented run or a TAS. Once you invent that game recording device or file type, you may not stop other companies from manufacturing a similar device and selling it and you may not stop other people from inventing a similar file type. I wonder whether if the Government made copyright laws less strict and granted collaborative researchers permission to predict what the government would have allowed them to do if they were capable of making such complex rules, useful research in all areas including figuring out researching techniques would no longer be slown down by the presence of ideas that have been thought of and patented and when ever they figured something out by themselves from being a amrt research group that's good at thinking of ideas, they wouldn't have to do a long slow patent search to make sure a similar idea wasn't already thought of and patented. Maybe if those copyright laws become less strict, you'll gain more in the long run from Harvard Catalyst research not being slown down than you'll lose from not being allowed to stop other people from using my ideas of the game recording device and file type.

excellent post

I see that there's a website http://www.zeldaspeedruns.com/ and a corresponding wikia for giving people the information to write a new route from at http://zeldaspeedruns.wikia.com/wiki/Zelda_Speed_Runs_Wiki. Can you create a similar 2 websites for each of the other serieses in http://zeldawiki.org/Community:Nintendo_Independent_Wiki_Alliance?

I don't even see the point. ZeldaSpeedRuns and Speedrun.com are totally independent so why are you asking us instead of them ?

I looked at http://www.speedrunstats.com and checked for shortest WR run. I found this run here : http://www.speedrun.com/run/pm35424y I don't know the game or the run but it seem highly impossible to finish this in 1 second.

I think its one of those games that would like a highscore board instead of a time board.

French Southern Territories

Yeah, probably. Also, I checked longest WR runs (well not watched all the videos entirely :p) This user screwed like a bit of the longest WR runs with his "99hr" runs : http://www.speedrun.com/user/sellz90

This one isn't a fake run, the 100% Baten Kaitos run requires the shampoo which is unlocked after a literal week on the in-game timer.

France

I just got an idea... But i don't know if it's a good one. It seems cool in my head. So i think it should be great by typing "/us" or any other country's abbreviation after the name of the game to see the leaderboards with users only from US :) The link for Super Mario Sunshine Any% with only US runners would be "speedrun.com/sms#Any1/us", for example. ^^

I would be cool to have filters by user region. The specific URL you mention probably isn't the best way to do it. It should just be a generic filter. (All filters should ideally have URL text strings, but I'm not sure what the plans are for that at the moment.)

Hey guys, I have a question about boxart for games, is there a certain range of sizes that work best? I've found that if you use an image that is too wide it gets compressed horizontally and looks pretty bad, but it seems like you can have really tall images so I'm wondering what the boundaries are?

Bavaria, Germany

Cover images for games get resized to one of a bunch of possible sizes depending on its aspect ratio, where 100x180 is the tallest and 180x128 is the widest possible.

I think dungeon maps, compasses, and boss keys should be required in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 100%. In addition to that, being enabled to carry the maximum number of deku sticks and deku nuts should also be required.
the front page reloads infinitely and i can no longer view it. i'm on opera
Are you still experiencing this issue and if so, is the front page the only thing affected? Do game leaderboards for example load for you?
