:O going for the jump in runs!

So I guess the only major timesaves left in any% are this and TAS cycle lol

Baltimore, MD, USA

TAS cycle isn't that bad (it still sucks though), especially since it's toward the beginning. It's humanly possible to save a significant amount of time from it and with enough practice it might even be consistent

Here's a video of me getting it on a run that didn't get the shell in 1-2:

It's a bit harder to do when starting as shell mario though in my opinion

If you haven't done something like this, you aren't a NSMB runner (yes, even I have...).

New York City, NY, USA

wait you got tas cycle in rta? how is that even possible? im so confused also thats the any% 1-T world record if you did that. im shook my guy

North Carolina, USA

You can do TAS cycle RTA with practice. Yeah it improves the IL record, but I just haven't submitted to the IL leaderboard. Here's me getting a 458 in my low% PB (starts at 2:20): It could be faster if I used fire flower to kill bowser jr.

As an update to this thread: I go for TAS cycle in every run now and am somewhat consistent at it; probably like 25%. Also with TAS cycle and 8-T1 cycle skip my sum of best is now sub 23:10 Kreygasm
