Looking for runs that fit several conditions:
-
Short, but not TOO short. 15-45 minutes say, with times in the middle better than either extreme
-
Minimal or no storyline. If there are no cutscenes, all the better. Skippable cutscenes are fine, but if the game seems at all like you'd have to see those cutscenes to enjoy watching it, it's not what I'm looking for.
-
As broken as possible. The more glitches the better.
Any platform(s), but controller support is basically a necessity for any PC titles.
I was super into the possible suggestions until the final point :D
I'm still interested to see what people come up with.
Sorry this couldn't be a bump (too early ;) )
Tomb raider 4 Last Revelation. If I'm not wrong there is a glitch that makes you jump stages by simply using the binoculars lol
You seem to have tastes similar to mine. Here are a few suggestions.
Shrek 2 (PC) Shrek Extra Large (GCN) Scooby-doo Night of 100 frights (PS2/XBOX/GCN) Scooby-doo Unmasked (PS2/XBOX/GCN) 40 Winks (PS1) Gex 3 (PS1) Croc Legend of the Gobbos (PS1) Bugs Bunny & Taz: Time Busters (PS1/PC)
Note: These are all platformers.
Curious George is always an option. The game is on Gamecube, PS2, Xbox, and PC so you have plenty of options. PC version is rumored to have some shitty DRM that can mess up your disc drive or something so it's recommended to just play it on console. The world record is 41 minutes and you should be able to get sub 1 hour after a few runs if you learn the tricks well.
legacy of kain defiance. a 10 hour linear game, with a 21 minute run. lots of fun with glitches, and cutscenes can be skipped.
Cheers all, appreciate the suggestions.
" Prince of Persia Sands Trilogy. "
Which games are these? Give titles please.
I'll just answer based on wikipedia:
The Sands of Time series: -Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time -Prince of Persia: Warrior Within -Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones (might not really be in the "trilogy thingy"?) -Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands
I second the Mega Man recommendation, can be glitch heavy as you want and they can be around 30 mins for a full run.
