Question about 100%.

Why in OoT 100% do you not need to get Epona, the prize cow, or dungeon items, (Compass, Map, Boss Key)? It seems weird to me, especially considering in MM you need to get all the dungeon items for 100%, (although I know next to nothing about MM so I could be wrong, and there could be a in-game reason). If someone could explain this to me that'd be awesome.

The rules are largely arbitrary, so you should tailor your expectations accordingly. The basic idea in OoT is that you get everything that appears in the start menu. The dungeon items don't appear on the start menu outside of the corresponding dungeon. The basic idea in MM is that you are get everything that carries over when you reset time.

If that's the case, shouldn't 100% be called something like, "All Pause Menu Items", and have the other things gotten in a true 100% category?

Minnesota, USA

It probably would be more aptly named that. But we're also getting 100% of the pause menu items. 100% is easier

Coming up with a definition for “True 100%” is also kind of hard since there’s a lot of things you could argue should count, that’s part of the reason why this definition has stuck for so long. True 100% has been tossed around as All Permanent Flags, but I don’t think that has been properly routed or really run outside of a few people (I know Makai did it Glitchless once and I think RTA64 did a few runs of 100% + Dungeon Items).

Recently, many longer runs submitted as Twitch highlights have had parts of their audio muted due to Twitch's automatic copyright detection, the most frequent case being long sections of Lost Woods music. Some vods will even give a network error at these parts which can cause several minutes of foot
