What is the best way to capture gameplay from the Wii? I currently use an HDMI upscaler but it has many issues.

The gv-usb2 is your best option for capture cards.

I personally use an old game capture hd for everything, including PC games. (I still don't have a way of recording 3DS games lol) But the gv-usb 2 is a good, cheap option, I hear.

Though I think everyone would recommend playing any old game either on a CRT or a lagless gaming monitor.

Is it compatable with Windows 10? And how would I display it onto a separate monitor/TV? EDIT: On a 1080p gaming monitor, don't have access to an older monitor.

With a composite signal, you should use three splitters for each of the connections. The splitters connect to the capture card's inputs. The Wii's inputs go into each of the splitters' inputs, while a standard composite cable goes into the other port of the splitters' inputs and into your TV.

As for being compatible with Windows 10, I don't know. I still use 7.

With a 1080p monitor, the only thing I can think of is using an HDMI upscaler, while plugging the HDMI input to the capture card, and plugging the capture card's HDMI output to the monitor. There might be other options, but that is the only one I can think of off the top of my head.

Well if I am going to use an HDMI upscaler I would just use the HD capcard I already have for the PS4, any particular upscaler that actually works well? The one I have is crap.

I can confirm the GV-USB2 works on Windows 10. However it does not work on normal OBS for me, only Studio.
