I agree to the solo/co-op fps change. It's the fastest way to get a run going for the chance of a one cycle. And yeah, solo should be a no go due to the igt thing you mentioned. But should it be a tactical reset to change back to 30 (or 120, whatever) after 2-3? I think it should due to the fact it's just at the start of the level and nothing has been done yet to trigger a checkpoint.

I dont know about you guys but id say because the leaderboards from PC and Consoles arent split , the FPS change shouldnt be allowed , consoles already have a disadavantage when it comes to speedrunning re5. But thats just my point of view as a console player.

Im not sure what ILs mean (im not a real speedrunner), but i like to speedrun re5 mostly the LiN DLC and i figured out that PC just has some small advantages over console (which can really matter) and in my opinion separating PC from Console speedrun times in both categories (full game and DLCs) would be more fair.

That would solve the FPS issues bcoz PC gamers could swap FPS at any time (coop mode) and the general PC advantages without cause any unfair "battle" against Console gamers.

Id just like to have an actual seperated leaderboard for PC and Console. I never even understood why PC and Console got the same leaderboard anyway , doesnt make any sense for me . But again its just my point of view , for me its just very important that all players have the same conditions.

I totally can understand that but still it would be way better with 2 different leaderboards. But i dont have the power or knowledge to do that so i guess ill stick to the mixed leaderboard and try my best against PC gamers.

PC and console aren't all too different. 120 fps has many downsides such as the AI being even worse than usual. So 120 in solo is just out of the question (for me) As for co-op, the same applies. The walls catch you every chance they get. The only reason a switch would be made is for a chance at a one cycle. But you said you've done a one cycle on PS4 before so in theory it's as far as 2 different platforms could be

But on PC its not all about FPS its also about faster controlls and certain things which are possible on PC bug not on PS4 for example . And talking about FPS maybe i was able to 1 cycle the ndesu few times bcoz frame rate dropped at right timing.

I play on PC with a controller. Type B controls They're the same across all unless you're on kb/m And as of right now, 99% of ALL RE5 runs are done on controller. Also, kb/m isn't really any faster besides a quick turn. Any record can be broken with a controller or kb/m And what PC bug?

On story it might be true but in LiN for example there are also kb/m users which can turn faster , have more hotkeys and can use some ingame advantages from PC version. About the "PC bug" it was a typo i meant "but" .

Yet you, a console players has the current SS record. And a console players has the segmented solo record. And a console team has the segmented co-op WR. I don't get what you're trying to get at.

Its just the fact which bothers me a bit , of course atm i do have wr in each solo SS difficulty and each Duo SS difficulty but id need to play better to archieve the same time as a kb/m player for example.

The person in second place learned the game recently. There's no difference in all retrospect about kb/m and controller. If that were the case then ALL PC games that allowed the use of each would only be kb/m Skill and drive are what make a world record happen. Not what you use to play the game.
