For single Champ 100% would I still be able to skip races or would it have to be gold in every race?
For 100% I'm pretty sure it means completing all the events without skipping any.
Actually, I'm unsure if it means you have to complete every race from every series, do you know if getting gold on each race within an event contributes to the overall completion %? If it doesn't and only completing the series counts towards 100% then you can skip individual races within a series.
I just checked for you and it seems that you must complete every race within every single event for 100%.
I noticed you also use an emulator. I don't have a capture card so should I just do Any% until I get a capture card? ¤I get the frame rate drop in the snow.
It is completely up to you, people in general like it more if you run the game using a capture card but I decided to use an emulator for the same reason as you (I don't have a capture card), it helps that using an emulator makes life easier without having the console setup imo.
I personally haven't had any frame drop issues using the emulator that I can remember, I think there's 1-2 snow levels during the any% run too so it will probably affect you whichever run you choose to do.
