Hello! Just joined this site, but have been looking at speedruns for like 4y now and finally decided that i wanted to start running/learning some games. Games that I'm looking to learn/try are Final fantasy (1 for psp), A link to the past, mega man x series, possibly pokémon, Diablo 2/3 and pretty much anything else that might seem fun to learn semi-casually (just bought momodora: Reverie under the moonlight). One at a time of course, just haven't decided on where to start, but these are games that i used to love, grew up with (although i haven't played all the X games but plan to!) and won't get tired of.

Don't think that i'll have a chance at becoming a pro at any game (like i suck at aiming/fluttering in yoshi's island but love to casual run it), but who knows if i might just find that one game where i will just rock the socks as i enjoy playing risky.

I will mostly be using emulator for non-pc games since i own pal versions and can't afford getting the jp versions or much else right now, and i find it easier to just stream emulator games (Could possibly set up to stream from my wii, ps3 or ps4 if needed)

I really want to find some new people like me, or people in learning to practice/learning/racing with, while chatting/talking on discord since i think it's more fun if you're two or more people bouncing ideas and questions. So if you're thinking about learning any of the games mentioned or something else, then just send me a mess and I might join you!

hi dude. same here just joined this site. been interested in speedrunning for 3 yrs now and I got a ps2 with a coupla games but no idea on how to run them.

What ps2 games do you own? Perhaps there's something that could be interesting to learn or something similar that we can find on pc :) I don't mind doing some research. My old ps2 is out of my reach for now.
