2 Controllers on Emulator?

So I have a OG N64 Controller but I don't want the stick to like loosen up when I'm doing bowser throws. Obviously the stick will wear out anyway over time but bowser throws requires moving the stick very fast and it'll make it loosen up faster I think. Most players use a hori pad for throws or any other stick that is better than the N64's. But I wonder how you can do that on Emulator for SM64. If you guys have a certain PJ64 1.6 Input Plugin which allows you to do that or anything else that might help, I'll be happy to know.

Honestly there’s no solution besides buy a hori. If you don’t wanna spend much then get a retro bit, but they break easily and don’t last very long

@Heyzeus, I understand but what I'm trying to say is I want to use 2 controllers on SM64 Emulator. I already have the controllers I need, I just need to figure out how I can use both of them while playing on emu. On N64, I think you unplug your current OG N64 Controller build and plugin your Hori but on EMU, you'll need a specific input plugin which I'm not sure how to find. I'm sorry if I misunderstood you.

for all of the buttons, (a, b, c buttons, etc.) you can just go to the 'modifiers' tab in N-Rage and bind all of the buttons as a macro (go to the dropdown menu and select macro) bind whatever button to whatever function, apply and save for all of them

for the joystick, you want to bind all of the axis of your second controllers joystick to 'config 2' under your analog stick binding on the main bind tab

then go back to your macro section and bind a button (preferably on your second controller) to the "mod type: configurator" under the drop down menu.

where it says "analog stick" on the configurator menu thingy select "cycle through configurations"

this will make it so that you press the button you bound to the 'configurator' thingy switch between the two analog stick inputs from either controller on a toggle, so you just hit that button when you switch from one controller to the other

that should work perfectly, it works like a charm for me and i dont have to fuck up my n64 stick its amazing

its pretty stupidly complicated to set up but it makes sense when you know what everything does

@Spifflet Hey man, I have an issue. So on N-Rage. It only allows you to use one device to map things with. I made the macros and the configurator to switch between my analog stick configs and I did in fact set Config One for my primary controller and Config 2 for my secondary and I still can't use both

@Xahkai Thats really strange, are you using PJ64 1.6 (with 1.6.1 update) and N-Rage v2.2.3c? Mine just allows me to map any controller to a macro over my N64 controller profile no problem... I really hope you can get this working!

Dude thank you so very much man. Yeah I did have the 1.6.1 update. The problem was the input plugin. I was using 1.8.3 but I download 2.2.3c. The difference is in the "Devices" Tab, N-Rage 2.0 doesn't have a option where you can choose which controller you want to use to map buttons with while N-Rage 1.8.3 does. Therefore, you can map buttons with any controller! This is awesome!

Setting this up myself and everything works great except that the c stick on my gamecube controller does not work when switching between it and my n64 controller, even when bound with the appropriate modifiers & macros. Is this because it's an analog stick and not just c buttons like the n64 controller is?
