A question about the FOV

Why is it capped to 90 in the rules? Is there a specific reason 120 FOV is not allowed?

In older versions, 120 FOV plus diagonal movement would increase render distance dramatically to the point where some rooms became less RNG than intended. The cap is to prohibit such strategies from usage.

As of this version, render distance is calculated differently, so I am not sure why there is a cap anymore
