My run was misinterpreted and wrongly denied.

https://www.speedrun.com/jtoh/run/m3530x4y States: "Rule 2" "Glitches are allowed, excluding gear clipping since not everyone has the items necessary to do it." I didn't use an item clip, but there were items in my inventory. Many other runs use that clip, including my former world record on that category, and the current world record. This is likely a huge misunderstanding. But if you say: "But there's items in your inventory", my other runs with items in my inventory were verified. IVTROY, could you please explain this?

any tower -> view rules -> game rules -> find "2." and read the rule

xx0 format? what's that?

wait nvm, I fixed it but shouldn't that be a responsibility as a moderator to fix those minor mistakes? There's an option to accept, edit and reject run for a reason.

I've now resubmitted my run under what I think you mean when you say xx0.

Pennsylvania, USA

yea so basically the millisecond portion of the timer actually goes by XX.xx0. for example, if I speedran Tower of Madness and I get 3:08.45, then that means I spent 3 minutes, 8 seconds, and 450 milliseconds. The 1st number of the digit is what makes the hundredths place. It does NOT mean 45 milliseconds, since the third digit is missing.

HOWEVER, IVTROY, as a SUPER moderator, can change the run's time to its correct time. He probably rejected the run as a mistake, probably thinking that the runner has to submit the run again. Not shaming on him, just a lesson to be learned

i've had a run rejected for rule 2 + 5 too, so just make sure you set ingame time correctly

@shinryan12

IVTROY rejects them on purpose for that sole reason.

I just got mine for same reason, coiling ToS was denied to: Rule 2

This kind of stuff actually didn't happen when Mega was a mod. Mega fixed the times.

i was also fixing these mistakes before, but when people submit ~10 runs every day, its easier to tell them to fix these mistakes so they won't make me to waste my time over and over again.

I'm 100% sure that changing the time from RTA to IGT will take less than a minute, same for changing it from xxx to xx0. For changing it from xxx to xx0 all you have to do is add a 0 onto the end lmao to change form rta to igt all you gotta do is just copy the times I'll be up for the job of verifying if it means everybody's runs are verified faster and less hassle with minor mistakes like that.

lets count. somehow i have 20 new runs in 1 day so i have 50. 24 of them have mistakes. it will take me 15 minutes to fix all the mistakes. people who made mistakes wont even notice them => they will make them again => i will waste even more time fixing your mistakes. i'd better spend this time reviewing runs of the people who can accept their mistakes and fix them. I don't want to say this over and over again so i will most likely just ignore questions like this one.

You could also ask for mod applications, since that will allow the amount of time to verify the amount of runs you receive to drop. Being a 1-mod team is inefficient.

Okay, so 5/10 runs have a mistake in them. so, 15 minutes of your time is spent editing mistakes, here's a list of things that take longer than that: -Beating a tower blind -Doing homework -A school lesson -Making food -Writing an essay -Some of the speedruns on this site -Getting a good speedrun to submit

Here's a specific list of all the world records that take longer than 15 minutes: CoLS Glitchless CoLS Glitches ToDD Glitchless ToGaH Glitchless ToN Glitchless ToTT Glitchless ToEE Glitches ToES Glitchless ToC Glitchless

Here's the world records longer than 10 minutes (Excluding the ones above) ToK Coils ToWER Glitchless ToWER Glitches ToRS Glitchless ToDM Glitchless CoCR Glitches ToAB Glitchless ToAB Glitches ToP Glitchless ToCO Glitches ToAZ Glitchless ToDT Event Items ToCCC Glitchless ToDH Glitchless ToCaS Glitches ToMC Glitchless ToHH Event Items

dude i can review more than one run

Devon, England

I'm aware of that, I'm saying, that if editing 25 mistakes from runs takes 15 minutes, those runs take about the same, or longer than that time.
