Could someone clarify what the ISO loaders bit in the rules means? As a guess it sounds like running the ISO on a softmodded wii, but I'm not sure (plus that seems like an odd ban when emulated runs are allowed).
yeah if you run a game off of a disc, the read write speed is way slower than the read write speed of a USB, so load times are blazing fast. Like they can be half the time.
I don't know why emulators are allowed tbh i just asked the same question in SMB1's forum.
Emulated runs should be banned by default for any system where there doesn't exist an emulator with a very high degree of accuracy.
The thing with Dolphin especially is that you can get wildly different results across not only build releases but configurations as well. Emulated runs can't even be accurately compared against each other, let alone legit hardware runs.
