Solo WR illigitemacy (resolved)

I recently took intrest in speedrunning party games, and while taking a look at the current world record for 1st place Solo (6:17 by Hazry) I noticed throughout the video he never proves that he is not in a party. I am confused as to why this got accepted, and would like to clear some doubts.

Also I find suspiscious how in the run, during the fire leapers minigame, the highest score was five (usually goes on for much, MUCH longer) and then proceeded to have other two people complete almost flawlessly Chicken Rings and Jungle Jump

When I made the rule about proving that you are not in a party for solo, I did it knowing that many people wouldn't read the rules that closely before doing runs, and wouldn't realize that this is a rule, and because of that I never really intended to have it be a rule that is followed so strictly that any run that doesn't do it must be rejected. After all, having a run be invalid just because of a little rule like that is pretty lame, even if it's still the player's fault for not reading the rules. Even in a forum post from roughly when I made that rule, I said that it would be "nice" if from now on people typed /p list at some point to prove that they are not in a party.

Regardless of that, I don't personally find the run very suspicious. Let me tell you, people are HORRIBLE at Fire Leapers. I've had countless games that end in the first 5 turns, and honestly at least half of the time, the game ends before it reaches 10. People doing so well in Chicken Rings and Jungle Jump is a little more rare though, and I understand the suspicion for that part, but having a couple other decent people at those games in a lobby isn't so unreasonable.

However, since this is a world record run, and a rule is a rule, I get why you feel as though it should not be considered legitimate. Honestly, when I accepted this run it was probably during one of those times that I had 8+ runs waiting to be verified (I'm a moderator of a decent amount of games) and so I probably paid a little less attention to the run than I should have. The run should be rejected because it didn't follow that rule, and I'm going to stick to that rule more strictly in the future.

I'll also change my forum post and change the way it is phrased in the rules to make it more clear that you NEED to type /p list during the run (preferably at the start).

Thank you for pointing that out. Even though I believe this run is likely legitimate, you are right that it shouldn't count.
