Is there an objective difference in the quality of random between the emulator (snes9x) and the real console?

Emulator is more convenient for me, but I make literally hundreds of attempts per day, but the bad random is very annoying. Maybe there is an objective difference between the console and the emulator in terms of random?

there shouldn't be any difference in the RNG system in general. the only real difference between consoles and emu, in terms of RNG, is where the RNG "starts" because the memory is being initialized differently. BUT if you do the razor shield manip, which works on both console and emu, RNG will start in the same place. this makes the razor shield manip the great equalizer.

The only difference I know of is SNES9x - its not accurate in the way it starts RNG. This is why you always get a razor below you when starting. This also sort of puts you on a different starting point in the drop/location table since its statically locked to spot at the start. For some reason SNES9x just doesnt honor the timer until the game itself starts - no matter where/when you press start on the demo the drop/location doesnt change.

This is the only emulator, either software or hardware, that I know of that behaves differently than console.
