Possible Final Boss strat

So unfortunately I do not have any footage of this since I did it as a child, but I remember for the final boss there was a UFO fight and the secret agent fight. That being said I know this is going to sound a bit odd with this claim but here me out

For the UFO fight against the giant president robot, if you use the UFO pick up to pick up something you can knock this into The Robot. What this can potentially do is knock the Robot into the water if he moved closed enough. This causes an instant death and brings you to the part two of the fight. It's hard to replicate but I just remembered this is possible and may help trim that section of the game.

While claims like this may be normally suspicious, I do avidly run plenty of games and remember that moment well. I believe it can be implemented with the proper setup. I want to say I had a building or a car and tried to wrap it around the boss

Not gonna lie you have my attention. I'll look into it tonight and see what I can do. I'm assuming you pushed him into the water near the Jefferson Memorial building/Lincoln Memorial building?

After practice, this does work. Question is now how to make a good setup and consistent movement because it appears difficult to do without taking a lot of damage.

I'm very glad it worked!

I just replayed the remake today and yeah that's the spot I believe. It was like a roundish lakeside? I'm not sure how consistent it'd be but it'd save a TON of time

@Ecdycis Not only does dunking Roboprez work (which means you can skip out on probes earlier on and save more time), you gave me reason to see if I could get Silhouette out of her arena and so the same to her. Yes, you can get her out of her arena by clipping her through a corner with a car or robot in the arena, and then make her chase you over the lake into the water (Furon superior IQ).

What I'm looking at for the final mission is something like 35+secs saved for Roboprez and ~1:30 saved for Silhouette (compared to the pre-phase skipping trick Austin found, compared to the phase skipping it's probably ~50s saved). They're easily the most unreliable and awful tricks in the game, and they're right at the end, but they should turn a ~6min final mission into a ~4min one if (keyword) they're done well.

So thanks, Ecdycis, for the info, inspiration, and killing everyone's runs over an hour in.
