All rooms visited All files collected All kills All unique items collected (excl. Special Key, ammunition, herbs)

Northern Ireland

All weapon upgrades collected

Sweden

All Unique Enemies All Unique Weapons All Unique Items All Files and Maps

Use Electric Cable, Light the flare for Lab Weapon Locker Key, Unleash B.O.W Gas, Register Fingerprint.

Pretty much everything thats unique in the game. Killing all enemies seems a bit off bc first of all you cant pick up anything before RPD bc Brad (which is a unique zombie a.k.a Boss with his 250HP and the Special Key) wont spawn if you do. So you would have to knife everything before brad. You would also have to kill any extra G-Embryo babies that can come out after the boss fight. All Rooms are also kind of unnecessary, you could make the same argument for All Camera Angles or All Inspections in the game. :P

At the end of the day 100% will be completely arbitrary 4Head

Couple questions: If all weapons collected, which scenario would one scenario technically not have to pick up sub-machine gun/side pack since this would be left for the other character? Or would they all be treated individually?

Although all rooms wouldn't have to be visited, would the keys have to be discarded/unlock all doors? (Specifically for Claire A and the B scenarios where the club key does not have to be used on one door.) (Same could be asked of Old Keys collected to unlock doors and desks and with Claire where the underground storage areas would have to be inspected. Although no unique items in there, these doors are still locked.)

Would Mr. X count as a unique enemy each time you see him? Or would killing him once in each form suffice?

Would grabbing the extra ammo with Sherry and Ada count, since this adds a line of dialogue to the cutscene?

I might have more, but these are a good base.

Germany

I'd hand in about the same as Dara, as for the unique stuffs like unlocking the SMG for the second scenario: single cat, leave it out entirely as it doesnt fit in one run, both scenarios in one run, leave it in. My two scents.

As for Mr. X. I never tried to kill him every time, we'll have to check if the ammo is enough.

This includes killing Brad for the special key right? Thats a challenge in itself Kappa.

I'd be hecka interested in the 100% runs, would run em.

United Kingdom

Knifing everything before Brad seems reasonable. Kappa

  • Kill Brad
  • All Unique Items, this includes weapons
  • Hit the unlock for the special weapons (A/S Rank), as this is technically 'acquiring' a Unique Item.
  • In B Scenarios, all Mr. X kills.

All Unique kills would sorta require you to setup a B Scenario file without killing the Croc in A scenario, also.

In the end, whatever arbitrary stuff is assigned to 100%, it should be fun and not about tedious chores.

My opinion for now Pick up all files and maps Pick up all mandatory itens and use them completely. Pick up all weapons and upgrades (and equip the upgrades): including Colt SAA for Claire. Pick up all opcional itens and use them: Cord, Side Pack, Red Cark Key, All small key for Leon (2 if I'm not wrong), Unicorn Medal for Leon B, Special Key (kill Brad), Weapon Box Key Kill All bosses (including MrX in each encounter, Moth and Brad are considered as a boss) Fingerprint Sidequest.

I dont think is necessary to pick up all ammo and health itens as well as killing all possible enemies.

B scenarios must be loaded from a file that has the side pack and the smg available and the fingerprint registered.

Edit: Rank S/A for the reasons mentioned by Liv

Edit 2: Unlocky all doors, including the ones that you have to open only on one side (the one in crow passage from RPD and the one in the sleeping quarters that have 2 lickers from lab)

My view on this one would be :

All Unique Items All Bosses All Weapons and Upgrades All Unlockable Unlocked All Files All Maps

This should mean :

  • killing Brad for the Special Key
  • killing each Mister X occurrence
  • unlocking all doors that needs a key, so Special Key and Club Key, without necessarily enter these rooms

And to add some thought about what PaxtonMega said, if a 100% run implies to collect and use all items (like electric cable), you should take all items (I don't remember if you can take both objects in the RPD armory).

Italy

I think that a game, to be exactly done at 100%, it includes killing every enemy you encounter, not just bosses... and possibly picking up everything, from healing items to optional items, like electric cable, but I think that electric cable must no be used, because it prevent zombies from windows to come in the gameplay, so it's something LESS and not MORE. All this means that runners have to manage correctly using the save box for collecting items.

Sorry for my english, if I made some mistakes :-(

@Xeelze about the use of the cord, It can be argued that if the enemy doesn't spawn, he doesn't exist, so you don't need to kill him.

@allancg Not sure about that. I mean, they are still there, ready to come in. You just prevent them to enter. We should listen to someone who actually knows how games codes and algoriths works tho :V

I made this for Leon A, based in what consider is necessary for 100%. I believe that I didn't forget anything.

For the SMG/pack it must be; Scenario A SMG, register fingerprints. Scenario B Pack, register fingerprints, get SMG Or Scenario A pack, register fingerprints Scenario B pick SMG, register fingerprints get SMG ammo

Also @allancg, you forgot to use the lighter to trigger the flare for the weaponry key

Also, wanna add something to the difficulty? No key discarded
