I don't know if it is too much to ask, since this game does not receive many runs, but I wanted to ask if the Scrat Levels and Boss Levels could receive their own category, since the Any% run skips them. I love this game and it's one of my favorites since my childhood, but the Any% run comes down to optimizing the movement through 1h straight, and knowing the puzzles takes part of the fun. That's why I recorded a bunch of runs from these specific levels with no puzzles. If the category is not added I will understand, but either way I post this video with a bunch of somewhat optimized runs for anyone who wants to have a good time watching:

Heya, the runs you did for both Scrat and Boss levels can be categorized as Individual Level Any% runs (no golden acorns and stars). There is no Individual Level categories created yet for this game. Since all the Scrat and Puzzle levels end with an in-game timer, we might created ILs. I don't know for Boss levels though but a consistent timing can be set. Else, a full-game Any% category has be thought in which it's not allowed to skip the Scrat and Boss level.s Since nobody has done a full run of it, the category hasn't been created. So you're free to do and post such a run, you seemed to enjoy the game that way. However, making a new category including only all Scrat/Boss levels is irrelevant because it's as if you gathered the 1st level of each world under a category. The same could be done for all 2nd, 3rd levels etc. Moreover, you'll have to finish the game in the first place before you could do a run. I let other mods give their ideas.

Yeah you are right, if I was to settle with playing Scrat levels it would be in the IL format. As you have said the Boss levels can be completed with similar times each time, so maybe it would be interesting to do IL's about the Scrat Levels, but then again, this can be done with every level of the game. I was aiming at doing it with the boss levels and Scrat levels because I felt it was a shame that those didn't appear in the speedruning format (apart from the 100% run), when at least the Scrat levels are clearly made for speed. That's why I gravitated towards them, but creating a new Any% category just to include them is pointless, since it is essentially the same as your already posted Any% run.

That's why I wanted to ask if adding ILs of the Scrat Levels, at least, could be possible, since they are excluded from the Any% run, but running them individually seems appealing and they are a big part of the game. Their nature and the in-game timer make them suitable for speedruns, they are essentially made to be timed trialed actually, that's why I thought about making something with them
