I tried to submit a game called You Are Now Possessed a while ago, but it got denied for being too short of a run. This confused me because pencil sharpening simulator and Google Snake are allowed. I am not asking to get those taken down but why are they allowed but not you are now possessed?

Those games were added way back when the rules were really loose in terms of game adding

They’ve just recently loosened the requirements somewhat. That’s also why Among Us is now on the site.

To be fair there was no consistency with game requests back when they had strict rules either. I got several game requests rejected multiple times for being short/trivial, but for some reason this 1 minute long game jam game got accepted. Nobody really knows what makes a game "notable"

either way, its a game jam game, and it probably didn't meet the site's standards.

A longer and more difficult game by the same developer which received a similar amount of attention was rejected from the site as well.

lol you know a game jam game was whipped together quick when I could replicate it over night.
