I'm holding a 24Hr Charity Livestream this Saturday, featuring speed runs of Castle of Illusion and Klonoa 2!

Hi folks, I'm NickRPGreen, a reasonable newcomer to SpeedRunning, though have been trying over the last couple of years after being inspired every year by GamesDoneQuick.

This weekend, I am running a 24 hour charity livestream on twitch.tv/nickrpgreen to help raise funds for my girlfriend Adele Butler's teaching fellowship in Uganda this summer. She'll be going with the charity LRTT, which provides training and assistance to teachers in less fortunate characters to help improve the education for their young people. It's a fantastic cause and though JustGiving, we've been trying to raise £2,500 to cover the fellowship and travel costs.

Starting at 12pm BST (7am ET/6am CT), I'll be playing a number of different games for 24 hours, including MOBAs, party games and not one, but two speed runs. A rough timetable can be found in the link below, I'll be starting the stream with run of Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey for the SEGA Genesis (15th best on SpeedRun.com) and later on Sunday morning, I'll be running Klonoa 2: Lunatea's Veil for the PS2.

I'll be giving away game keys, doing shout outs and offering viewers the opportunity to join in with games, though none of these will be donation driven. The only donation incentive I'm running is in the run up to the stream, there is a bidding war to change my League of Legends Summoner name! The name with the most money donated will become my new name at the start of the stream on Saturday. There are a couple of rules, more info can be found on the event page.

It's a really great cause and I'm really looking forward to running this. Even if you can't donate, the support on twitch would be most appreciated.
