100% is self-explanatory. 3 star ranks on all cups of the engine modes in Grand Prix (100 and 50 can be skipped since 3 star ranks in 150 get applied to both automatically), beat all the 150cc and 200cc staff ghosts to get the gold tires and collect 5k coins to get all the vehicle parts and the Gold Glider (Quick update to 100%: It may include 200cc staff ghosts instead of not including them) 99% is the same except you only get 3.1k coins and skip the Gold Glider

Some extra rules would be being able to take small breaks but still counting towards the final time, considering 99% alone is already over 10 hours long on average, and having to show yourself creating the new profile to know of its legitimacy

Timing starts when selecting the newly created user to play the game with and ends when showcasing the last vehicle part being obtained (the Gold Glider in 100% and whatever the last vehicle part you obtain is in 99%)

That sounds like a really solid ruleset to me! I don't think we need to add anything to the rules about how time spent taking breaks will count towards your final time, though, since that's just standard RTA timing protocol. Before anyone asks in this thread, although this category is a behemoth (probably ~7-9 hours for 99% and ~12-14 hours for 100% for optimized runs, although I might not be accounting for menus enough), it is still definitely not a long enough category to warrant free breaks like BotW 100%.

I may make a guide to mention tips if these end up becoming a category, if that's ok

@Firestar3685 How long do you presume this to take?

@linny356 Sorry for the late reply but i already did a 99% run before doing this thread, it took me 12 hours and 17 minutes so the average is probably 10-11 hours total for that category. As for 100%, probably 12-13 hours but I'm not sure since i've yet to do that. Someone has ran 100% already except with the 200cc staff ghosts so that adds up a bunch of time, making it hard to predict how long it would've taken them without doing those

Wow. That’s a long category.
