Hi,

Apologies is this has been asked before but we have recently released our first steam game although not many people are playing it yet (which I assume is the biggest problem about adding it). I believe it would make a great speed running title (for any%) due to the way levels and floors are unlocked. So would it be ok to add the game ?

Any help appreciated,

CJ

Thanks for the reply, but I guess I was more after....is it frowned upon to add a game you developed yourself and also is it worth it if there are currently not many active players?

edit: just saw the yes part :)

Dont worry, many people do it and its fine. If the game isnt worth it it will be rejected and the fact that there arent that many runners isnt as important. Also, a mod who developed a game will care more about the leaderboards than other mods. Once it gets added, you can talk about it and post a link in the advertisement thread

Make sure to add a second social media page. Also, as the developer of the game, you will know more about the games than other players, which is cool
