I just made a game where I reimagined Minecraft as a speedrunning game.
Play it for free and climb up the online scoreboard https://bitben.itch.io/mc-speedrunning
The best 10 players on the online highscore will get a spot in my next video.
If you're interested I also made a behind the scenes video how I made the game
We have an advertisement thread:
You can also request the game here: https://www.speedrun.com/knowledgebase/supporthub/request-game-or-series
Oh that's really cool! Thank you so much for the suggestions! I will definitely show my game there :)
Nice game, I sort of think Minecraft at this point is sort of a genre now, because of all the spinoffs ever since it was born, (sort of like Lego bricks too) I got curious and dug this up from internet searching: Complete list of Minecraft clones! - Minecraft
this was from a Reddit post 11 years ago, when Minecraft was still fresh a lot of devs hopped on to the trend, it's mind-boggling.
Also, there's this video by the tekkit realm which was fun to watch, when he got a clone of Minecraft going...
@jackzfiml that section only shows verified runs, at least look at their info page, which still says 0💀
@YUMmy_Bacon5 the thread isn't that old though? 😅
anyway, @YUMmy_Bacon5 @jackzfiml @Act_ uhhh... how do I say this.... I think I'm procrastinating to do any runs... I'm a bit afraid of recording anything... any tiny pieces of advice? Maybe I might try after that. 😅
What game(s) do you have in mind? I’d recommend using OBS. You do have to set up window captures and all that jazz, but it is 100% worth it in the end. https://obsproject.com
@M_CBL_ if you happen to have an iOS device, the built-in screen recorder is really easy to use.
a lot of tekkitrealm's videos have been proven fake now and he deleted his acknowledgement.
I have never liked the TekkitRealm, his content, even without the lies, is just bad

Yeah, I'd already researched into OBS, as basically everyone uses that so I was planning on learning to set that up properly. 👍

sadly @Pear I don't have any kinds of apple products especially Iphones, But I think androids have the same capability, but I'm aiming for trying out a speedrun on my windows PC, rather than on a phone of any kind.
although that could be interesting too... 😅
