Weird Glitch (may be useful in Any%)

Ok, so I found something useful but very unexpected. I'm not sure if I can even replicate it, but if I can, I'll try to post it as a reply to this thread. I should probably start off with saying that I'm not very good at speedrunning this game, and the device that I use to play this game is pretty laggy. So what happened was I was learning the Any% route, and at the beginning of Huge Room 2 (in the narrow platforming section), I somehow teleported myself up to the bully. The basics of how it happened was this: I was using the basic F.L.U.D.D and one of the bullet bills came from behind. It was very close to the ceiling, and I was near the top(because I was hovering). It then squashed me through the ceiling up to the bully. I'm pretty sure this glitch works the same way the other glitch which squashes you into a wall and teleports you works. This could potentially save some time in the Any% category.

Hmm, that's interesting. Could you tell which floor of the zigzag section you were in (you go left on the 1st and 3rd floor, and right in the 2nd), as well as which way you were facing when the bullet bill hit you? That would be useful to know

Sounds like you performed lag glitch to me which has the same effect as what you described in your post.

I don't know how you managed to get squished into the ceiling using a bullet bill. The zip that we use in our runs is done by getting squished into the ceiling but we use the moving platform instead, not an enemy.

@Vertic Actually I think I wasn't clear about which section the glitch happened. I'll include a screenshot of exactly where I'm talking about. At the beginning of Huge Room 2, there is a set of six Bullet Bill launchers. One of the bullet bills from the very top launcher got to the spot of the screenshot(up to this point everything is completely natural). I tried to kill it by jumping on top of it(I was facing towards the bullet bill/bullet bill launcher) and the movement of the bullet bill squished me into the ceiling(taking me through to the floor near the bully). I would say that it happened because the the bullet was very close to the ceiling, and even though I killed it, the animation remained for a few frames(still very close to the ceiling), and I hovered near the center of the dead bullet bill, which I guess somehow tricked the game the same way the moving platform did.

@Pvtato It's possible this happened only because of lag, but it's also possible that the lag actually helped me execute this since I had more time to react. Maybe someone who's better at the game could execute this in a lagless environment.

I haven't been able to replicate it, but I'll keep trying.
