This thread is for bouncing off ideas about how to optimize certain runs. Or lower the RNG aspect later on in the run. Not the place to talk about driving techs.
32 Track: -Start on Toads Turnpike and reset until the good car pattern (horrible for spliting/only useful for Time Trialers who have memorized the pattern)
-Using Speed Kart/Normal Wheels, higher underwater speed so it is much faster on Dolphin Shoals. (again only useful for top-level players, only useful on item runs, since the extra underwater speed makes it so that eel-less strat can be done 3/3 instead of only lap 1 if it is a clean run. Optimal to start on Star Cup, in order just to get a perfect Dolphin Shoals. Also has a huge advantage on Dry Dry Desert and Sherbet Land. I wouldn't say it is too viable however.)
40 Track -Starting with the Egg Cup (Excitebike Arena and Mute City boost panels can be reset) -Switching combos in between segments (Blue Falcon is extremely useful on the DLC Cups due to lots of antigravity. Start on Mushroom Cup and use regular combo, and the the DLC Cups use Blue Falcon)
