The DKC wiki isn't lower profile than this site if you are a part of the community. It feels much more like home. Came hang out in our discord and use our wiki for strats and then maybe you'll learn to like it.

i am looking into running this game as well, and i can understand why he wants his time's here but at the same time there is this whole community that helps and works together on that other site. So maybe give an option to add times here as well but just mainly use the DKC Wiki for everything else DKC related.

Our LBS will more than likely be "synced" with our wiki one way to src.

Additionally: "I can't be bothered to submit"... lord, really!?

"My hobby that involves playing video games fast is too high maintenance, I only have the time to submit to THE best there is" ¤dusts shoulders off¤

I can't even.

The main reason I haven't completed a timed run of DKC is because I can't submit it to this site. I hope the leaderboards here open up soon.

Welp, looks like you aren't going to be doing timed runs of DKC then. If posting to this site is a requirement for doing DKC speedruns, then you aren't legitimately interested in DKC speedruns.

Conform or be ostracized. That's the DKC way. RIP my feelings.

Actually, conforming would be using speedrun.com leaderboards.

CptBrian you literally just made that retro achievement page to spite us and I consider that very childish. Have fun being mad. We don't care.

" http://i.imgur.com/YJfZKlW.png " Those pages have already been there for three years, which you could've found out very easily. This community is so toxic.

Now I remember why I distanced myself from the SNES titles of DKC. I see, it was the right decision. :)

To the VERY FEW PEOPLE WHO CAN SEE THIS, IF ANYONE AT ALL, any suggestions on how to crawl the wiki pages?

I'm thinking of crawling the current pages as-is, parse and import the runs en masse, then have it scan the pages for each time there's an update (with the 'last edited'). The problem will be matching up to see if the run already exists on the site. Could possibly concate all the strings and store the MD5 somewhere, idk.

Edit: Okay we're visible now.
